Hello! Our computer broke at the beginning of the month and it took a few weeks, a small bucket of money, a motherboard, a new case, and a power supply to get it up and running again. Though we both have laptops, all of my pictures and software are on the office computer- so its absence set me back.
As for news… this month has been slow! The infamous, but beautiful, rainy season has set in on the olympic peninsula. It rains pretty much all day, every day. At least it’s real rain, not the annoying non-committal misty rain that happens more frequently in Vancouver where I grew up. We have about one day a week that is clear, but other than that- it’s rainy! We’ve really enjoyed having a fireplace in our living room and bedroom to snuggle up next to during the storms though.
Addie is officially huge! She had her 18 month checkup and held onto her 100th percentile for height yet again. She is 35 inches tall (100th percentile), 29 pounds (95th percentile), and her head's 18.5 inches around (70th percentile). She is the size of most 2.5-3 year olds, it’s crazy!
She’s learning new words all of the time and seems to really be trying to speak more. I think with just a few more months of practice, she’ll be well on her way to really being able to express herself. She continues do mimic everything we do and seriously, it just never gets old. She is SOOOO cute- every day she learns something new and adorable.
I promise to do better about updating the rest of this month. For now, here are a couple of cute pics of Addie in my favorite dress of hers:
