As far as news goes, our only big announcement is that Sam got accepted into the Master's program for Information Systems. Normally, IS students take management classes for their bachelors, then more management classes when they come back and get their masters. Sam is in an integrated program that made it so if you are accepted into the master's portion, you only take the master's level management classes, so you graduate with your bachelors and master's at the same time. This past year he has been in the junior core, and in April had two options: graduate in April 08 with his bachelor's or hope to get into the master's program then graduate with a Masters in April 09 (possibly Dec 08 if we can squeeze it). Sam's program is very competitive so many good students who apply for the masters don't make it in, so we are quite proud of sam that he did. He's quite fancy indeed.
It's a good feeling to be on the home stretch. Every day that passes we're closer and closer to finishing school and moving into a house and I couldn't be more happy about it. It's also great to know that Sam will be getting his master's for sure now. We had always hoped/assumed he would get in, but you never know until you're accepted. And he was! So we shall all have to call him Master Sam after April of 09.

Congrats Sam! We'll be leaving Provo in '09 as well...but only with the undergrad. Then it's off to Dental school for 4 more years! Someday it will all be worth it (that's what we tell ourselves). :o)
