Mischief

Im thinking that my days of Addie just playing by my side all day in the office are drawing to a close. She's getting way too mobile to continue being interested in her toys in the middle of the office floor. ALL DAY LONG she is trying to somehow get back under the desk, and pull on the cords hanging in the back, or suck on my knees, or hit the computer like it's a drum. She also loves to walk back and forth between the computer and the speaker, as if she can't decide which is more interesting. She is too tall by a few inches to stand under the desk though, so she does this ridiculous squat thing that is honestly too funny. Plus, she always wears socks because her feet get cold, but the wood veneer of my desk is pretty slippery with socks on... so it adds that much more of a challenge for her. She doesnt seem to mind though, she just keeps at it. All of this, of course, while I'm trying to get some work done. Why oh why she would choose to be there instead of somewhere more comfortable is totally beyond me. But alas, babies will be babies, right?
